It is always a pleasure to welcome alumni back to the Centralia College campus to see how it has grown and changed over the years. Last week I had the pleasure of giving a campus tour to Jay and Sandy Hammond (Redmond) and Mel and Shirley Stone (Rochester) both of the class of 1957. It was interesting to hear their stories of how Mel and Sandy attended the old Lincoln Elementary School (then located on Walnut/Washington Streets) and then stories of the old high school and antics that kids back then did in search of fun.
Tours, however, are open to anyone and if you are interested, please call the foundation office at (360) 736-9391, ext. 290.
