Those of you who listened to/watched the State of the Union speech heard President Obama say the government would invest more in energy technology. Well folks, Centralia College is already there with cutting edge stuff. Everyone knows the infrastructure is old and the people who run it are probably older. So something’s gotta change. There’s something called Smart Grid that is coming that uses new technology, whatever that is, to get electricity more efficiently from a source to the end user. Centralia College is putting together the training programs for the Smart Grid. Go Blazers!
