I am trying to find out if there is somewhere I can go to search the records for year 1967. I knew a girl then, by the first name of Laurel who had just graduated from Pe Ell H.S. and was attending summer school and also the regular year in 1967. She was on the Field Hockey team of that year. I went to Mt. Vernon with her for one of the games. She lived, I believe on Moon Hill Rd. and was one of 4 or 5 sisters. I thought maybe her name was Aust, but am not sure. Anyone out there able to point me in the right direction of where to look would be appreciated. Thanks,

I was happy to see our college on facebook. I was trying to find someone who I only knew as Susan. She told me her last name once but it was hard to pronounce. Upon going through all the microfilmed college newsletters in your library, I was able to find the graduation list and found two "Susan's". Unfortunately, not everyone graduated from Centralia College who intended to transfer. She went on to the University of Washington. Attendance at CC would have been around 1967-1969. She was from the Olympia area. She was on the deans list from time to time.

I was so glad to be at Centralia College. I went on to three other two year colleges but Centralia College was the best and most memorable. I remember Mrs. Kemp, a wonderful lady.

I was fiddling around in the Chronicle when I found a note about the college blog. Imagine that! When I attended in 1963-65, I don't think we even had electric typewriters! We did have Mr. Wickstrom and Miss Kemp, though, and that was even better. I would be interested in hearing from other CC students from that period, especially those who did not attend Centralia High School. (We just had a reunion last year and many of us got in touch.)

So glad that you have taken the opportunity to check us out! I bet things have changed a bit since your were here in 1988. If you are in the area, please call me at the Foundation Office (360-736-9391, ext 516) ... I'd be happy to give you a tour.

I'd love to hear how Centralia College has impacted your life. What have you done since leave Centralia College?
