The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges is seeking legislative interns for 2015.
Deadline to apply is Oct. 31. Application materials and further details are available online. Students chosen to be interns will earn college credit for their work.
Based at the state capitol in Olympia, interns are responsible for tracking legislative proposals, advocating for two-year colleges, and interacting with elected officials.
Work includes attending and participating in legislative committee hearings, monitoring floor action, and ensuring two-year college students are represented throughout the 2015 legislative session.
Internships run from the beginning of January through the end of the regular session.
