China Creek cleanup Nov. 15

The Centralia College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is seeking volunteers for a cleanup of China Creek from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.

About 50 volunteers are needed to clean the upper banks of the creek at the Centralia College Keiser Natural Outdoor Learning Laboratory at the corner of Centralia College Boulevard and Washington Avenue.

Volunteers are advised to bring gloves and boots, and to dress appropriately for the weather. Refreshments will be provided.

To RSVP for the work crew, email ccknollproject@gmail.com. Everyone is invited to help.

The cleanup effort is in recognition of National Philanthropy Day and is meant to be a quarterly tradition for Phi Theta Kappa, the honors society for two-year college students.
