From 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 11 in Kemp Hall room 129, the electronics and robotics department at Centralia College will host a department open house. They will be showing off the program and providing information about the educational benefits of working in a competitive, technological field.
There will be small electrical component kits available for anyone (kids especially) who wishes to build with guidance from experienced members. There will be a variety of hands-on displays with robotics, microcontrollers, automated systems, and electrical circuit projects.
The invitation is open for anyone, regardless of age, but high school juniors and seniors are especially encouraged so they can see what kinds of careers might be possible. The open house is free and refreshments will be provided.
