Centralia College is currently taking applications for $10,000 in scholarship money from the Biella Foundation for winter and spring quarters.
The scholarship is open to all new and current Centralia College students, regardless of program. A brief application and biographical essay are required for consideration. A total of $10,000 is available for winter and spring quarters. Deadline to apply is Jan. 29.
“The Biella scholarship is open to all different kinds of applicants, which makes it a great opportunity for students who many not be eligible for other kinds of scholarships or financial aid,” explained Robert Cox, vice president of student services. “It’s a simple application and a short essay. We encourage everyone to apply.”
Printed applications are also available in the college’s financial aid office (located in the Student Services building).
The Biella Foundation is a Redmond-based nonprofit that provides grants for disaster relief, education, and social services.
