Centralia College is seeking volunteers to help plant trees in the Kiser Natural Outdoor Learning Lab (KNOLL) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12.
Volunteers will be prepping the soil and planting trees native to Eastern Washington, which will be used to teach Centralia College students about the trees and plants native to that area.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and a reusable water bottle, if they have them. All other equipment and refreshments will be provided. RSVP is recommended to ensure enough equipment is available.
The KNOLL workday is a collaborative project with Phi Theta Kappa, the honor’s society for two-year college students. Funding is provided through a staff mini-grant from the Centralia College Foundation.
The KNOLL is located on the northwest end of campus at the intersections of Centralia College Boulevard and Washington Avenue and King Street.
