Due to incredible demand for its Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management (BAS-AM) program, Centralia College is now accepting applications for a second cohort of students.
The fall cohort of students will start Sept. 19. A second cohort will start Jan. 3.
This is the first time a second, winter cohort has been offered.
“The BAS-AM program is growing. We saw the waiting list getting longer, and we decided to take action to get more students into the program,” said Connie Smejkal, BAS-AM faculty advisor. “We now have the ability to accept 30 additional students into the BAS-AM program for 2016-17.”
Students who submit completed applications before Oct. 21 will have priority for admission. Acceptance letters are expected to start going out Nov. 1. Classes will start Jan. 3.
The BAS-AM program provides graduates management training applicable to a wide range of businesses and industries. Classes are held in the evenings. The classes incorporate online learning to reduce classroom time.
Eligible applicants need to have an associate (two-year) degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university (there are no time limits for when the degree was earned) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
