Celebrate Latin culture on Sept. 15

The Human Response Network and Centralia College have partnered up to present Dia De La Independencia from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in the new TransAlta Commons building at Centralia College, 600 Centralia College Blvd.

It is free and open to all.

This Latino cultural celebration will feature performances by Mexico Within the Heart and Herencias Mexicanas, and free traditional food.

For children, there will be activities and games, balloons, face painting, movies, and more.

Other sponsors include the Hands On Children’s Museum, Molina Healthcare, and the United Way.
