Centralia College East will host a Health Care Career Fair
from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Centralia College East, 701 Airport Way, Morton. This event is free and open to everyone
Who should come?
– Health care employers who want to market in-demand entry-level employment opportunities
– Job seekers who hope to connect with employers
– New students who want to learn about the degrees and certificates available locally, as well as the scholarship application process.

Entry-level health care positions are in high demand, especially in rural areas such as Lewis County.
Training is available at Centralia College East in Morton for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Care Aides (HCAs). Centralia College East also offers many of the prerequisite courses for Medical Assistant and Registered Nursing degrees.
Scholarships are currently available for tuition, books supplies and testing fees through the Upskill/Backfill Rural Health Care Demonstration Project in partnership Pacific Mountain Workforce Development for successful applicants.
This Health Care Career Fair is part of the Upskill/Backfill Rural Health Care Demonstration Project, a partnership between Centralia College East, Pacific Mountain Workforce Development, Morton General Hospital and the Heritage House.
