New Date: Vagina Monologues

Due to inclement weather, Centralia College’s production of  Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologuesat has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Feb 26 in the Kirk Library on the college campus.

The performance is sponsored by the Centralia College Diversity Committee and the Student Life and Involvement Center. There is a $5 suggested donation. In addition there will be a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the Human Response Network.

The Vagina Monologueshas been called “probably the most important piece of political theater of the last decade…” by The New York Timesand “spellbinding, funny, and almost unbearably moving . . . it is both a work of art and an incisive piece of cultural history, a poem and a polemic, a performance and a balm and a benediction” by Variety.

The presentation is part of V-Day 2019, a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls. Further information about V-Day can be found at http://www.vday.org.
