Centralia College is now taking applications for a total of $10,000 in scholarship money from the Biella Foundation for winter and spring quarters.
The scholarship is open to all new and current Centralia College students, regardless of their program of study. A brief application and biographical essay are required for consideration. These scholarships will available for use in either winter and spring quarters. Deadline to apply is Dec. 31.
“The Biella scholarship is open to all different kinds of applicants, which makes it a great opportunity for students who may not be eligible for other kinds of scholarships or financial aid,” explained Robert Cox, vice president of student services. “It’s a simple application and a short essay. We encourage everyone to apply.”
Printed applications are also available from Debbie Filley in the Student Services Building (second floor).
The Biella Foundation is a Kirkland-based nonprofit that provides grants for disaster relief, education, and social services.
